If you liked Nevosoft's Treasure Island and Pirate Island, then you're sure to like this match-3 title. The premise of The Pirate Tales is similar to that of the aforementioned games: Take one piece of treasure, match it in a line with two or more other like-colored pieces, and clear the board of break-away background tiles or pieces with such icons as shark's maws, enemy cutlasses, or gold coins to clear them from the board. Collecting ancient Yin/Yang talismans will grant you special powers to help you wipe certain stubborn pieces off the board, and to keep you sucked into the game's kooky atmosphere, the makers were kind enough to throw in on of the cleverest stories of intrigue and betrayal ever written in PC game history. Throw in merry pirate-themed music and great illustrations, and you've got yourself a winner! Try it today!
