From Toybox Games, makers of Roller Rush, Teddy Factory, and Paradise Pet Salon, comes another time management game that's sure to appeal to fans of the genre--and just in time for the Holiday season, too!

Relying on the same gameplay mechanism as Teddy Factory, Santa's Super Friends involves piecing together a series of cute toys for the world's children, from stuffed monkeys and rabbit dolls to robots and dragons. Not only must the player prevent the legs, arms, heads, and torsos of these toys from reaching the end of the conveyor belt, but he or she must also fulfill the orders of the elves lined up at the bottom of the screen and complete the toy they ask for before they leave with tears in their eyes. Unfortunately, this aspect of the game is what makes it so frustrating, as the CPU frequently fails to offer all the pieces of a given toy, hence leading to the automatic departure of the elf requesting it and hence the automatic deduction of points from the player's score. This can be a little unfair, especially for perfectionists, although the speed at which the conveyor belt can also make clicking on certain doll parts a chore, too, unless the player is exceptionally careful and deft. Nevertheless, the gameplay starts out at an easy-enough pace for younger children and other newcomers to get the hang of it, and the idea of piecing together ornaments to hang upon a special "Christmas Trophy Tree" of your own is a nice touch--just as nice a touch, that is, as the game's bright, colorful, and smoothly animated graphics and its mellow, festive music.

Overall, then, Santa's Super Friends is a decent enough game for players of all ages that's both fun and challenging, and I encourgae time management players and puzzle fans alike to give it a whirl.
