Tara and her family have inherited a fairground in Coney Island, however this place has seen better days and it looks like the fairground will have to be closed down. However a mysterious Merry-Go-Round Dreams machine seems to be working and appears to have some sort of magical power over the park, by completing the games in the machine parts of the rides become restored to how they once were. Link together three or more bulbs to form chains and boxes over a series of puzzle or time based challenges which will help Tara return the fairground back to its former glory. As the game progresses, additional bulb colours and special bulbs with specific functions add to the challenge, whilst new game modes and rewards can be unlocked by using skills learnt and achieving target scores or quotas, whilst lighting up the DREAMS panel will provide one of four bonus balls which, when activated, can be used to help out in tight spots.

Now THIS is what I call a puzzle game! Unlike most match-3 games, there's no swapping pieces or pulling one row of items to align three of the same color, and there's certainly no clicking on a group of three like-colored articles to collapse them. Rather, the player must click on three or more identical light bulbs in a straight line so as to form a chain or a box that will eventually pop every bulb within that formation. There are three basic modes of play: Puzzle Mode, where the player must pop all the bulbs in a limited number of moves; Quota Mode, where he or she must pop a certain number of bulbs of a given color before time runs out; and Survivor Mode, where he or she must simply race against the clock to pop as many bulbs as possible. Story Mode contains all three modes of play as it tells the tale of young Tara O'Dowd and how she helps revitalize her late grandfather's abandoned carnival, one atraction at a time, and if nothing else, Endless Mode is the perfect time killer for players who just want to relax after a hard day's work. Throw in some great graphics, excellent carnival-themed music, sweet sound effects and voice-overs, and such power-ups as the Big Pop and Time Freeze, and you've got yourself one of the worthiest games ever to hit the Internet.
